Setting the right target audience is key for any new and up and coming film. The right audience will trigger success, and research into finding the right target audience is something that needs time and effort, as this decision could be a pivotal moment in the production of any film.
After thorough investigation into the various target audiences and the effects on the film, we decided to target our film production at the 18-35 demographic, mainly males, however we feel that all ages can relate to the film because it has sci-fi influences, and sci-fi is a multi aged genre that can appeal to all audiences of all ages. We feel that our decision to target our film at this age range is a good selection because this allows us to relate our film to a wide range of people.
