Demographic Analysis
I anaylsed the demographics represented in our film and evaluated their effectiveness.
Audience Feedback
We did a survey of people who had watched our opening sequence and asked for their recommendations and thoughts on it.
Thursday, 29 March 2012

Here is the DVD case I made for our film. There are some still shots that were not used in the opening sequence to keep the audience anticipating them later in the film. Its lack of colour suits the dark genre and would stand out to a fan of the genre.

What happens in Films?
I have researched what happens in various genres of film, and this includes things such as an interesting plot, and a film with an interesting opening or ending. This research has allowed me to realise what are the key parts of making successful and memorable films, and this has allowed me to realise what needed to be in our main task.

Research on Transistions
In out opening sequence we need to cut between scenes so that the audience do not get confused or lost, to help understand what is needed to create the best effect needed so that each transition is not always boring, I looked at this video on youtube by ECAbrams where he breifly explains what tranistions are and why they are needed, and looked at the other links which explain how to create these effects, and so our group can explore more ways of doing this.
